How to Move Overseas...Almost Painlessly!

In 2004, I moved from Washington, D.C., to a country in Central Asia with my State Department husband. While I studied electricity in college (mostly dealing with theatrical lighting), it had been years since I'd had to deal with electrical currents on a regular basis. And I had never lived in any country but the U.S.

So when I moved, I was thrust feet-first into a crash-course in Electrical Currents and how they differ from those I was used to. I was shocked at how little information was available - it was almost as if I was the first person to ever move overseas with her computer!

Even though I'm still new at this, I've decided that what I've already learned can help someone else in preperation for their own move. Leaving your country and planning on taking your appliances? You've come to the right place - and I'm here to help.

Strap on your digital watch and set your phasers to record...you've got your own crash course in Navigation to learn!
